Dark Shadows



                                                           

Under Eye Shadows  
                    
¼“Slice of Cucumber
1 drop of Olive Oil

Directions:
  Simply cut the 1/4" slice of cucumber in half.  Lie down and place each slice under your lower eye lashes.  Leave on for at least five (5) minutes.  Rinse with cool water, pat dry and moisturize the area with olive oil.   

Benefits: 
 Cucumber has a cooling, soothing and hydrating effect on the skin.  It also helps to lighten and fade dark spots.

Rough it OUt



Lighten Blemishes, Dark Knees and Elbows
            
1 Small Potato
1 small square of cheese cloth or a handkerchief
1 small jar with a lid

Directions:
  Grate a small potato and squeeze the juice into a small jar.  Moisten the cotton ball with water and a small amount of the potato juice.  Apply the juice onto dark spots, knees or elbows.  For best results, use consistently (daily) for at least three (3) months.  Store the potato juice in the refrigerator after use.

Benefits: 
 An inexpensive way to give yourself an even toned complexion.

Nail It!



To Prolong Nail Polish        
1 Tablespoon    White Distilled Vinegar
½ Cup    Warm water
Hand Towel

Directions:
  Mix vinegar and warm water in a small bowl or saucer.  Soak fingertips in mixture for 1 to 2 minutes.  Allow nails to dry thoroughly then apply the polish of your choice.
  
Benefits: 
Makes the nail polish last longer as well as strengthens your nails.

Oil Blotting Sheets
            
1 Sheet of Tissue Paper (used for gift wrapping)      
1 Pair of Scissors


Directions:
  Fold the sheet of tissue paper several times.  Cut paper into small squares or desired shape.  Place paper into an envelope or a small container that fits into your purse.  Use when necessary.

Benefits: 
 Blotting paper cuts down the shine that appears naturally throughout the day.
