Luscious Lips

Moisturizing Lip balm
 1 Stick Unsalted Butter

Directions:
If necessary, exfoliate lips with one drop of honey and a pinch of raw sugar.  To make moisturizer (ghee/clarified butter), heat one stick of unsalted butter in sauce pan under medium heat.  Heat until butter melts.  Turn down heat and allow butter to boil.  Boil until bubbles/curds on top cease foaming or appear infrequently (about ten minutes).  Remove from heat and let cool for about ten minutes.  Strain and pour into a clean dry container.  Allow ghee to become solid for an hour.  Apply to lips and around irritated nostrils (during allergy season).

Pour remaining ghee into a clean dry jar for baking or stir frying.  Store on your kitchen shelf; do not refrigerate.  Replenish your small container when necessary.  Always use clean, dry utensils.

Benefits:
Ghee (on the lips) moisturizes and heals.
